The only exception is coconut oil that can be used in salads without any risks for body and health. Be sure to keep a small amount of it in a jar at the room temperature for you to add in salads when it’s melted. The rest of it you can keep in the fridge.

The less refined and concentrated products we consume, the more the diet can be considered detoxifying.
Raw products eaten alone or mixed in salads are considered to be the most appropriate food.
Another useful fat product to be added in salads is considered to be avocado. Although it’s not necessary to add fatty products in salads, it’s important to consume them because they are vitally important.

It’s very easy to make salad sauces without oil, the only thing you’ll need is a blender and enthusiasm. There is no exact recipe to follow or exact proportions to respect. You can use the products you like most and experiment with them.

Sauces without oil can be categorized by type:

•    Light and juicy: for example – mix together in a blender an orange and a persimmon. You can mix berries, mango, or papaya.

•    Thick and sweet: add a banana, squeeze some lemon juice, add curry, cinnamon and cardamom.
Note: don’t mix these sauces with protein.

•    Thick and nutritive sauces have as a base some of the following ingredients: avocado, young coconut, coconut milk, nuts or nut paste, seeds, raw yolks, goat or almond yoghurt.

Note: Thick and nutritive sauces mix well with proteins.

When you make salads, consider roots, green vegetables, greens, beet, carrots, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, marrows, pepper, radish and squash. Don’t forget about spinach, parsley, fennel, basil and more. These green leafed vegetables are rich in fiber that’s why they are very indicated in detoxifying diets for their properties in getting off fats, cholesterol, and toxins.
